Summer Inspired Cooking

Hot summer weather always gets me in the mood for cooking! Menu items fulls of fresh vegetables, bold spices and authentic flavour.
Our family has an interesting mix with some gluten sensitivities, one seafood allergy and one anti-spice and vegetable fans. It can be hard to find a meal that suits all...the search is on!

Last nights dinner was a Mexican salad ready in less than 30 minutes. Recipes are only guidelines so switch up by adding more vegetables and unexpected spices.

Today: Crock pot beef chili for a quick lunch (EASY!!). 4 hours on high for a spectacular meal with no fuss.
- salsa
- ground beef
- lots of spice
- kidney beans

- greek/italian flat bread
- any toppings desired (broccoli, spinach, pepper, diced tomato, sliced zucchini, onion..)
- combine with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic , fresh basil and pepper
- grated mozzarella cheese
